Deborah Allen-Dozier

Deborah, a commissioner since 2004, is an architect and a resident of Hamden since 2002. In college and high school, she performed in productions of HMS Pinafore, the Mikado, God's Trombones, Sarafina!, and many other musicals. In addition to her Arts Commission involvement, Deborah is a director in her church choir and sings with the Heritage Chorale of New Haven.

She ranks the pleasure of designing and building her home among her most cherished accomplishments. Deborah is the mother of three wonderful adult children and one granddaughter. In her spare time she loves to bake, sew, upholster and paint, just not all at the same time.
