James Velvet

Versatile, prolific songwriter, bandleader and performer who’s played in area bands and clubs since 1980 with the Mocking Birds, the Ivory Bills and the Lonesome Sparrows among others. Velvet has co-hosted a radio show on WPLR Sunday evenings that showcases the music of local songwriters and musicians.
