Robert Tobin

Tobin is a California artist and Creative Director for A Reason to Survive (ARTS), a non-profit social service agency located in San Diego he joined originally as a volunteer in 2001. ARTS provides children innovative arts programs designed to heal, inspire and empower them to face life’s challenges. Tobin studied at Southern Connecticut State University before heading west. His work varies from large scale mosaic installations to tiny paintings on rocks. He works in a wide variety of mediums, most recently in spray paint, soft and oil pastels, fire, latex paint, black mold, broken piano parts, corrugated card board, broken glass, duct tape, clay, photography and socks, to name a few. He also owns a design and build company that does extreme makeovers of store fronts.
