Mark S. Peel

A New Haven native, Mark has a liberal arts degree from UConn and other degrees from Southern Connecticut and UMass. He was an administrator in higher education for over twenty years and an executive in environmental contracting businesses for sixteen. His love of the arts began while in high school when he worked in the concessions at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven and the Oakdale Musical Theatre in Wallingford. Mark has published sports and human feature articles and enjoys playing guitar and writing. He and his wife, Sharon, have lived on West Woods Road in Hamden for the past seven years. He is now semi-retired and in his first year on the Commission.
