The Hamden Arts Commission will be hosting an interactive performance fundraising event in conjunction with theater company, "History at Play" on November 30th at The Unitarian Society (700 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden) from 6:30-10:30pm.

The show is titled, "A Downton Abbey Experience: A Christmas Engagement Gala" and is an interactive play in which audience members will be invited to participate in the story throughout the evening.

Dress as your favorite Downton Abbey character and join us for this light-hearted spoof in which we will celebrate the engagement of Lady Mary and Matthew Reginald Crawley at a party that is clouded in ambiguity over the future of the stately Downton Abbey©. If only the characters can locate the missing will of a millionaire magnate, who left the fortune to the Abbey, then they will know the estate can be saved. Lady Mary and Matthew are joined by family members and staff in a whirlwind of entertainment, including songs, dancing, and plenty of laughs!

Tickets are $50 per person (or full table rates below)

Included in ticket price is:
One Complimentary Glass of Wine
Heavy Hors d'oeuvres
An Interactive Play Experience
Hot Coffee, Tea, Desserts
(Be sure to bring cash for the fabulous post-show Raffle!)

Guests may purchase up to 8 tickets at a time, and/or a full table. Table Options: 6 persons per Round Table @ price of $350 or 8 persons per Rectangle Table @ price of $400. If you have questions please contact the Arts & Culture Department at 203-287-2546 or amartindale@hamden.com
