Mary Spinnato Mazzacane

A voice major and graduate of the Yale School of Music, Mazzacane also studied with Maestro Francesco and Hilda Riggio at the Connecticut Experimental Theatre (CET). She later became co-artistic director of the CET Opera Theatre. She taught music in the New Haven public schools, at South Central Community College (now Gateway) and the Foote School. She has sung leading roles in operas, has directed choirs and performed solo in local area churches, and been recognized for her work by the Italian American Historical Society and Southern Connecticut State University. More recently she has been active performing and teaching puppetry.
