Nicholas Orsini

Author of the book, The Language of Drawing, Nicholas Orsini was a very accomplished painter. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a major in painting, Orsini went on to earn an MFA degree from the University of Pennsylvania, while also studying at the Academy of Fine Arts. After continuing his study in Italy, Orsini shared his talents as a professor of art at various universities, including in the Hamden area. Orsini passed away at the age of 81 in 2012.
