Professor, artist and Director of the Division of Fine Arts at Paier, Zappalorti is a graduate of Paier and a B.F.A. from Albertus Magnus. He is the author of Drawing Sharp Focus Still Lifes in which he explores his method of rendering still life in photographic reality. His work has been exhibited at the Wadsworth Athenaeum, the Manufacturer’s Hanover Trust Gallery (NY), Trinity College, the Drawing Two Exhibition of the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, Gallery 86 (NY), the Greene Gallery (CT), the New Haven Paint & Clay Club, and the Douglas Gallery (CT).
