William McCarthy

McCarthy is an internationally-known artist of contemporary landscapes embracing "a subtle variation of light and atmosphere." With paintings on display in Hamden Government Center and Spring Glen businesses, he is also represented nationally in some nineteen galleries. McCarthy is noted for his technique workshops using memory and imagination to paint landscapes. He also serves on the board of the Davison Art Center at Wesleyan University.
